Spayed and Neutered Dogs
No Females in Heat
I believe Oliver had a great time while staying at Nancy's. It was his first time as a puppy to just have the freedom to run with other dogs and play. We learned he likes to play with chickens too. Overall good experience. Thanks Nancy
Nancy was awesome about keeping in touch by sending updates and pictures frequently. Bones obviously enjoyed his stay because he slept for a full 12 hours after I picked him up!
Nancy watched our dog for 5 days and was very communicative while we were gone. She has a very large yard and doggy play area! You can tell she has a great love for dogs (and animals in general). Bixby was well taken care of and we had no worries leaving Bixby with her - would definitely book again.
Almost like home for your fur-baby.
I have been an animal lover all my life. Retired 7 years ago, I hate leaving my dogs alone for anything, so I decided to begin dog day care in my home. Previously an Emergency Medical Technician and Firefighter, long time commercial driver. What NANCY would like to know about your dog
I will want to know if your dog climbs, digs or pushes at the fence or gates, or any other thing like bolting if it gets the opportunity, trying to slip the collar when on the leash. I want to know, if you know, will they chase animals, instinctively or aggressively? Is your dog fearful of anything, ie: hot air balloons, the Goodyear blimp (they go over us), fireworks, gunshots, noisy automobiles, especially anything that might make him bolt, hide or need a safe place to go. I need to know if your dog will come when called and what word or words you use, does he know "leave it", "stay", etc. Of course any allergies, medical conditions, your vet's name and number and we will discuss what you want me to do in an emergency (your vet or mine that is nearby, call you first, etc.). Is there any food or treat that you DO NOT want it getting while here? Are there any restrictions/limits on "snacks", I may be cooking or baking something up! Does your dog have any particular behaviors you know of as far as getting along with other dogs?
