Hiya! We are Naima Jones and Keith Wilson, soon to be the Wilsons! We live in Richmond with our two rescue dogs Samantha(6yrs) and Rose(5yrs), whom we've jointly owned for 5 years. We've lived in Richmond together for a little over 3 years now. Naima is the founder and owner of Woof At First Sight LLC, a professional pet care business. While it is usually a one-woman show as Naima provides pet-care full-time, Keith steps in often to assist completing visits and overnight care. We have been partners in pet-care since 2018. Keith and Naima have a combined 13 years personally and professionally caring for dogs. We are both Pet CPR/First Aid certified. Safety is our top priority for both your four-legged loved one and your home, and Woof At First Sight carries insurance that protects both. WALKS: *NO CATS, unfortunately Naima is allergic. *Rates subject to additional charges, based on holiday, distance, additional dogs, etc. HOUSESITTING: *sitters will be present for 10 total, nonconsecutive hours of care. Appx 8 hours overnight, as well as 2 additional 30 minute visits during the day. *NO CATS, unfortunately Naima is allergic. *5 mile radius, no exceptions. *in person Meet and Greet required. *mail/package retrieval, blind rotation, *light* plant watering, and trash disposal(i.e. to the curb for weekly pickup) included with services. My dog is quite a handful and they handled her very well. Had pictures every morning and evening. She looked tired, which is a miracle! Highly recommend.
Naima is the best!!
Everything about these two really warmed my heart from the moment I met them. On top of taking fantastic care of my Jackson, they were extremely pleasant people. They constantly sent pictures of Jax having fun and playing. I don’t know why, but I am extremely excited for this newly engaged couple, not only as sitters, but as a young family. I highly recommend them as sitters.

Both will be available at Meet and Greet.
A typical day
We love exploring new neighborhoods in the city, while on a walk or a visit with your furry companion we tend to let them lead the way(within reason) so they can take us to their favorite spots. Whether that's a pile of leaves to run through in the fall, or a local pet stores that gives treats, our walks are about business but fun as well. We make sure they have ample time and opportunities to go to the restroom, while reinforcing any training they are currently learning or already know. During an overnight stay with a pup, one of our favorite activities to do together is treat/puzzle toys! Did you know when done corretly, they can wear a dog out more than an afternoon walk? The mental stimulation is more exhausting for them, using many senses to get to a delicious treat or two. Although we are also fans of the classics like fetch and tug-of-war.
