I have grown up with dogs and cats and have a very sweet rescue corgi/pitbull named Stella. I want to grow a business around the absolute joy I derive from my time playing with and caring for pets. And Stella says she wants more friends, too! I have many years in customer service, am college educated, and am a certified nurse's aide. I have always been drawn to the helping professions and providing compassionate care.

I can't say enough nice things about Naia! I am so happy that I found her. I have an elderly dog that needs special care and attention and he got the best care I could ask for! Naia is a gentle soul and made Cody feel very welcome. She also has a very sweet dog Stella, that is wonderful with dogs as well. I can't recommend her enough and just know your fur baby is in good hands with her!
Naia speaks dog. Dogs love her, trust her, and know they are at home when they spend the night at her beautiful house. She has a calmness and kindness that dogs love, something important during what can often be a stressful event for a pup. Her big backyard is very dog friendly, safe and enclosed away from the road. She sends photos, checks in, and had no issue helping my little guy (Pippin) keep up with his 3 different medications, twice daily. Pippin loved staying with Naia so much that he's already leaving travel brochures around the house for very far away and time-intensive journeys. What can you do. If he loves her so much maybe he should just go on vacation and take his best friend Naia!

I have a fenced yard (not totally secure but i never leave my dog unattended), a large first floor apartment, and live two minutes from echo park lake and frequent there for long lake walks.

Any allergies, friendliness or aversion to people and other animals, and behaviors or fears that need extra attention. I have one dog so amiability with other animals is crucial. Please provide detailed instructions for medication administration. Please bring dog bed, toys, treats, chewies, etc. anything that will provide a sense of comfort to your pet. Don’t forget adequate food and poop bags!
A typical day
We can walk to my local coffee shop for treats and pets, a walk around echo park lake or hike up Elysian, lounge in sun in my backyard, and listen to calming dog asmr in the evening while chewing on a bully stick.

I work part-time in the evenings so i have a lot of day time availability for walks and hikes, yard time, and attention. I am adaptable at establishing routines per pet guidelines.
