We are a small family that loves animals, but we travel quite a bit during summer, which prevents us from being full-time caregivers to a pet. This is why we have opted to care for the animals of others. I grew up in Oregon with dogs, horses, cats, goats, and pigs, and have experienced, since birth, the deep connection that can be made with animals. My daughter has exhibited this same spiritual connection with animals from a very early age. During frequent visits to my mother’s farm, she has shown a keen understanding of all animals to almost an eerie extent— at 2 years old commanding my mother’s rambunctious CaneCorso, who was about double her size. “Sit,” she told him, and he did just that! After a few days at the farm, my mom called and said she doesn’t want to freak me out, but I need to know about our daughter’s fascinating connection to the animal world.. after this, and frequent requests to babysit people’s animals, my heart can’t take it anymore, and Rover seems like a great way for her to love and care for many sweet dogs out there. Maybe then, she won’t feel the need to track people down at the park and ask if she can walk their dog for them lol. I should add that we have successfully watched friend’s pets for extended periods without any trouble at all. With the support and guidance of my husband and I, she will give your pup all the love in the world. Indeed, close supervision will be had between the kiddo and the pups. 100% of earnings will go into our daughter’s college fund.
