Pet care experience
I've cared for everything from cats, dogs, reptiles, poultry, swine - even walked some of those as well! As a dog owner of 13 years, I know how it feels to entrust your furry family in the care of others. I've been counted upon by family, friends, neighbors and bosses to give their pets the love and care they need. PLEASE READ: 1. I have adopted a rescue dog who is fearful of some dogs, so if you are looking to book housesitting, boarding or doggy day care you must know that my dog will be coming with me, and we need to schedule a time for our dogs to meet first and establish compatibility. Please do not send me a request if you are unable to do so. 2. My rates are low because I believe affordable dog care shouldn’t be impossible to find! But please consider, if your dog is high maintenance, senior with high needs, or requires frequent attention I may request high compensation that feels fair of the care work being asked of me.

Nadia is awesome!! Her dog and mine got along SO well, and I was so comforted to know my dog had a friend in the house and was getting daily walks (or hikes!). She took such good care of my fur baby, sent photos and videos the whole time, and I will definitely be requesting her for another time!

I am willing to consider boarding or doing doggy day care in my home if, my dog, and your dog dog are able to build rapport first. If this works out, I have a fenced yard and live right by an off leash dog park and trails. If you are booking a weekend day, know that we often do long hikes and walks on weekends!!

I would like to know a dogs temperament, their likes and dislikes (activities, places, other animals, etc), times they need to be fed, things they can/ can't eat. And any random quirks (do they howl at 5:34 pm everyday? Do they like to hide inside pillow cases?)
A typical day
My favorite part of caring for dogs is getting to out on walks and explore together! I appreciate doing longer drop ins and overnights so we can really get out there for longer walks and hikes

Availability
I have a hybrid work schedule, so most days I should be able to work from home/ your home if housesitting, and attend to your dog! Ideally I don’t leave dogs alone for more than 4 hours at a time. I am no longer consistently available for dog walking or drop-ins between 9-5. But just contact me and we can figure out scheduling and availability :)
