Pet care experience
I grew up in a household where my mother would rescue pets that I would care for while she worked which has contributed to my strong liking towards animals. Personally, I have had a miniature dachshund for thirteen years under my care. Due to her being an abuse rescue she has several special needs, which has given me a diverse experience with animals. For several years I volunteered at a local animal shelter to help dogs engage in exercise and personal connection with humans. I have rescued and rehoused (also kept) kittens. Additionally I have watched pets for family and friends through out the years.

Nadia watches my cat a couple times a month and has built a wonderful relationship with her! Her drop-in updates are thorough and always make me feel better to see how well she understands my cat. She is the best!

Nadia was amazing! She showed up earlier or right on time it was great. Very communicative and super sweet and loving to our babies. They loved her! We will for sure try to get her again :)
Nadia walked Gracie for another week, and was always responsive, prompt and took great care of Gracie! Nadia let me know the pavement was extra hot a couple days and played fetch on the grass with Gracie instead. Would definitely recommend Nadia based on her communication, flexibility and reliability!

Regardless of the service I am providing I plan to strictly follow instructions and my best instincts to care for your pet. Working with your pets unique needs and quirks is my main priority. When my clients are away something I always make sure of is that the pets get plenty of exercise. For dogs that often looks like fast pace or long walks and fetch, and for cats I typically deliver exercise through the use of toys that encourage movement. Overall I attempt to make a connection with your pet(s) so they feel supported while family is away! I greatly value always presenting my best efforts, and that shows in all aspects of my work. Please reach out if you have any questions regarding the details of my services! Due to the aggressive animals in my household, I do not provide any boarding services in my home at this time.

A typical day
I love walking with dogs and doing physical activities. Cuddling and showing pets affection is always a part of the agenda. With cats I often engage in stimulating activities such as the use of toys that encourage exercise. Each typical visit is tailored to your pets individual personality. If you have any special activities you like to do with your pet please let me know!

I am currently a full time virtual student at North Carolina State University finishing up my last semester of my undergraduate degree and working at a local CrossFit gym’s daycare with an ever changing schedule, so please contact me for more details!
