I am a pet caretaker at your service! I will treat your dog as if they were my own with care, attention, love, and play... lots of play! I can adapt to the needs of your dog, whether they want to lounge and cuddle or play and go for walks. I would adapt to your dog at whatever energy level they have. I grew up with dogs my entire life in California. When I moved to Pittsburgh for graduate school, I was unable to own a dog full time due to intermittent travel and school. I practice yoga every day and run at least once a week. I can adapt to the needs and comfort of your dog and to you as an owner. I am really big on communication and would love to get to know you and your pups! Details: I have a nice neighborhood that does not get a lot of traffic. I do a lot of walking around the neighborhood and would also love to take your dog walking in Friendship, North Oakland, or Shady side. Your dog's sleeping arrangement: If your pet likes to snuggle then this is the right place! Your dog will sleep in bed with me as long as that's where they would be most comfortable! If they would prefer a dog bed instead, we can arrange that. Time I'll spend with your dog: Aside from the time that we are sleeping, I plan to spend at least 6-7 additional hours with your dog(s) on the days that I am working as a graduate student (job is flexible as I work from home). On the weekends I would be able to spend more time. I'm also happy to call, text, FaceTime, and send pics of your pets to you while you are away. Extra house-sitting services I will water plants, bring in the mail, feed the fish and other small animals. I worked at as a (informal and formal) babysitter and (informal) dog sitter for while and know the ins and outs of care for someones home, children, and pets. I can attest to the level of responsibility and training I have had over the years to assure you, your pets, or home will be in good hands. Right now I am a graduate student working from home (pretty much standard, although COVID has created an abundance of time in my home) and I live with no doggies or other pets. I live alone too! Abundant time for your pet and I (: I will update you throughout the day. My schedule is filled with outdoor activities (running, walking, skating) and very flexible to the timing needs of your doggie. I have a fenced yard and can easily create your doggie if needed. I like a lot of walks (I am pretty active), I go by an adaptable eating schedule (I am a morning person) but can adapt to the night. Lots of play and treats during the day to stimulate your dog, and I love to taking your dog with me to events or social activities if you are okay with that. If your doggies do not get along well with other people or with other doggies, I will not do this outing. But if your doggies need social activities we can definitely do a lot of different types of activities. I am a social and active person and love for your doggies to get as much attention (like I do socially from other humans) as possible. Your doggie is welcome to cuddle with me in my bed or on their own in their bed, whatever you/they prefer.
