I ended up coming home a day earlier than planned. At 6:30 PM on Friday I contacted Nabil and let him know that instead of arriving at 5 PM on Saturday I would be coming in later at 11:30 PM. When I arrived home at 11:30 on Friday night both of Blue’s water dishes were bone dry. Blue was lying on the couch. He did not even get up to greet me and when I went over his body was hot. I filled his water dish, and he drank, and drank, and drank. My place smelled like dog pee. The bath mat in the bathroom looked like it had been peed on - it was half yellow. I washed it and all the other articles in the bathroom and then wash ed the floor in the bathroom and the smell finally disappeared. In response to my text to Nabil at 6:30 on Friday night to advise I was coming home he called me to let me know he had left the house early in the morning and there was a mess on the floor from Blue. I expressed concern that it had not been cleaned up and it was now 630 at night, strongly suggesting Blue had not even been for an afternoon walk yet. He then replied that he would go clean it up and confirmed at 9:00 PM that he had done so. It has been 36 hours since I arrived home and the two dog dishes that I filled when I got here on Friday night still have a half inch of water in each of them. So it would seem that Blue’s dog water dishes, and not been filled for at least two days. I can only say how fortunate I feel that I came home a day early and that Blue seems to be OK.

Where to start….. First, Nabil shows up for the meet and greet and clearly does not understand the agreed upon terms. I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt and let him watch Pax regardless. Then, he arrived 3 hours late to the agreed upon time. I’m still unsure when exactly he arrived. The following 3 days I received spotty updates with strange pictures, and addressing Pax as “the dog”. Very impersonal. The worst however is how my house was left and Pax was left when he departed. I came home to a house that reeked of natural gas because he left my gas stove on. Thankfully the auto shut off worked and it didn’t kill my dog. Second, he left the leash on Pax, which also could have killed him or greatly harmed him if he had gotten caught somewhere. How careless of Nabil. Third, there were a number of things moved around in the house. Strange things…my bed was left unmade, my shower curtain clearly was somehow reattached strangely, food was moved around strangely (even though I asked him not to move things), and finally, instructions were not followed for feeding (he didn’t feed him any vegetables or fruit as I instructed). I would NEVER ?? use him again, and warn heavily against anyone ever using him as well. I’m not sure if perhaps he’s going through something, but your loving pets are not safe in his care. I’ll be communicating the same to Rover directly. Sorry Nabil, but this was a disaster.
