Dogs are the joy of life.

Pet care experience

Dogs are my soulmates. I have had a pack of dogs all my life since childhood. In my opinion, dogs are the best friends a human can have. I can't imagine life without dogs. My most recent pack was four dogs for 15 years until recently when three passed on due to unforeseen circumstances, one that passed was during a boarding at a vets office, thus, I got involved with Rover. I have one 14 year old male cocker-poo left who is very spoiled. He is used to having other gentle dogs around him and loves having polite company. Woof. The more the merrier. I have a large, fenced in back yard for them to romp and play. There are no worries with them in the house. I will treat them like the fur babies they are.

Myrna is great. She keep all three of our fur babies and they were very well taken care of. Even when our Maggie wanted to get a little aggressive to the other dogs, she kept her under control. I will ask for Mryna again. Thank you Mryna for treating our babies like your own.

Myrna's place is conveniently located to MLB airport. She was flexible with my ever changing travel schedule and welcomed my two rambunctious dogs in her sitting room, which is separated from the rest of the house by a tall adjustable fence. Her patio is spacious, but the house inside seems better suited for small and medium dogs. I have two large high-energy dogs that come with two large beds and one giant crate! Her sitting area already has two large reclining chairs, tables and TV stand... The whole combo of furniture and dig stuff seemed to make traffic flow a little bit of a challenge, but Myrna made it work for 2 nights that my dogs stayed with her.

Loving and attentive care for our dog with regular updates provided peace of mind during our extended trip. Great place for any dog, but especially older dogs that need a little more tlc.

Information Myrna C. would like to know about your pet

Please, if your dog is aggressive in any way, especially toward other dogs, I need to know. If your fur baby is not completely house broken, I need to know this. I have learned after stays began that a dog was aggressive and/or not house broken. I would like to know idiosyncrasies, previous injuries, personality type, how they feel about new people, new dogs, cats (in case one gets in the yard), playing, energy level, and how to make them comfortable

A typical day

If we go on walks, that is, if I feel it is safe to manage the dogs altogether on a walk, it will be in a nearby park that has shade cover from trees. I will err on the side of caution regarding walks to keep your pet safe. I am a Nurse. I work part-time. I also have a Master's degree in Psychology. I have facilitated therapeutic recreation with youth and animals (horses and large dogs). I am cautious and make an assessment regarding the safety of your dog on a walk before I take them. If I do not feel I can safely manage your dogs on a walk, I will not take them.
