I have spent my entire life living with canines in (and outside) the house with the exception of only a few years. I've learned every dog has their own personality and is capable of being a lovable dog. I've also taught all of my family's dogs how to loose leash walk (from about the time i could mow the lawn). Exercise and the opportunity to "sniff" the neighborhood go a long way in a happy, healthy, smart doggo's life. Its not always reasonable to handle everything in our day-to-day lives, like spending 30-45mins on a "fun walk," with our four legged friends. Pawlidays such as Howl-o-ween and festivities like Deck-the-Paws, or maybe the dog-days of a hot summer get in the way. . . I also wholeheartedly believe in positive behavior training, but always stick to your routine. I have incredible amounts of patience for dogs and have never met a doggie I couldn't share a smile with. Can't wait to meet Fido!
