Hi I'm Myka (he/they)! I've been helping take care of my family dog for over 11 years now and have taken care friends, family, and other community members' dogs, cats, and other animals such as snakes and frogs for the past few years. I love dogs especially and enjoy walking them and being around them in general. I am always happy to give a dog some love and/or walk them!

I am very friendly and will match the pet's energy that they give. Most dogs love me but I am always respectful of them and I can understand their body language pretty well and will not push it if they are shy or nervous or otherwise telling me they do not want me to pet them or give them love. I feel like I am able to read pets pretty well on what they want/need and am a very non-agressive or pushy person. I will meet your pet at their level!

Let me know if your dog has any special diets or behavior expectations, or if your dog needs to be crated when left etc. Or if your dog is not friendly with other dogs or humans so that I am able to keep them and other dogs and humans safe on walks. It's also helpful to know any behavioral tendencies for your dog so that I can help enforce your rules with your dog as well!
A typical day
I love to do lots of different activities with the dogs I watch! Depending on the dog I am happy to go on long walks, short walks, fast walks, walks for sniffing, playing catch or frisbee, tug of war, running around in the yard, or just petting and cuddling! I am a very flexible person and am happy to do what is best for the dog and what makes them happy! :)

Disclaimer: I will only be in St Louis until August 29th, so cannot take bookings there after then as I am going back to college. I am around almost every day and at any time! I am home for the summer from college and looking for a way to make some extra money when I am not practicing my cello! :)
