Pet care experience
I absolutely adore all dogs and cats! I ensure their pet care will be fun and completed to the fullest! I have been a pet owner for almost all of my life and have cared for others pets for around 15 years. I am a recent college graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Biology in hopes of becoming a veterinarian so I can extend my love for animals not only in my career but for the entirety of my life! I am extremely friendly and always give a warm welcome to pets. It is important to me that a pet feels comfortable and trusts me to care for it. I also always make sure i get to know the pet before caring for it. Your pets care and safety is my number one priority! I look forward to meeting your furry friends!

Very responsive to set up initial meetings and make sure that our schedules aligned. As a first time rover user, found this to be very helpful. Mya was dependable and responsible.
Mya watched our two dogs for 3 days and 2 nights in our home. She stayed in contact and sent photo updates throughout her stay without being asked. We just got home and wouldn’t know anyone was even in the house. We had such peace of mind knowing our dogs were happy and well taken care of. I will definitely be using her again. Thank you!
MYA was absolutely tremendous! Leaving your fur babies with a stranger is not an easy thing to do, especially when you're far away on vacation. MYA made my girls feel like they were safe and protected. She sent me pictures throughout the day, and was very accomodating. I am grateful and thank you!
Mya was amazing. Her communication was consistent and she sent us lots of photos and videos of our dogs out on hikes, resting and at the dog park. It was clear they were having a great time and in good hands. When we came home the house was spotless, and she left us a lovely note summarizing how the dogs did with her and anything else we needed to know. We were late getting in from out of town and she made sure our dogs were fed and had enough excercise before we got home so all we had to do was love on them. She went above and beyond. We will definitely use her in the future and highly recommend her.

I do not offer pet care in my own home, however I am willing to be a sitter in your home. When providing this service, I like to meet the pet prior to the visit to ensure they are comfortable with me being around. I will then ask what the pets needs and follow any instructions given. It is my priority to make sure they feel safe and have a wonderful time while the parents are away.

Before sitting a dog I would like to know of any injuries and/or medication that the pet takes. Other good information to know includes if they are friendly or timid, if they will jump on someone (so I am prepared for that when I visit), if they have any special circumstances behavior wise, allergies, disabilities and sensitivities (triggers etc.)
A typical day
I will take pets on appropriate length walks in locations such as walking paths or parks. If nearby I am willing take your pets to a dog park for some fun interactions with other pups! Activities performed while caring for your pet includes playing fetch or playing with their favorite toys.

I am a recently graduated student that is looking to go to Veterinary school next fall. I have worked in many different large and small animal pet care facilities and I would like to take all of the knowledge I have obtained and put it towards giving your pet the best possible care! I will make anything work for your furry friend!
