All friends welcome w Beau & I

Pet care experience

Here is an update 10/2023: Hi my name is Cheyenne. For some reason I haven’t been able to change my profile name but still working on that! 🤷🏽‍♀️ My Instagram is CheyenneMT, and I have a Dog Sitting highlight if you’d like to look :) I work at home and work in healthcare technology! Who is in the home with me: Just me and my 5 yr old dog, Beau, and we love other dogs and fur friends! Type of animals he’s comfortable around: He loves all dogs and all humans, and knows he can be beat up by a cat haha. Beau has been trained with cats, he comes off interested with the first interaction, then immediately backs off when he knows they will paw him in the face haha. My dog is the cutest and happiest dog I know, and is always present with me. He is the perfect pup to take to dog friendly places. He is a rescue and a field spaniel and flat coat retriever mix and has had received behavioral training when I first got him at 5 months. He’s energetic, so your energetic dogs will be in good hands. He also knows when to chill, as he was also put through obedience school when I first got him - btw highly recommend. Game changer! What will their environment look like for your dog? We have a 1600 sq ft house. And 10.8k sq ft lot with a HUGE backyard :) the dogs love it. Especially the squirrels that run up the trees. My neighborhood also has a Georgia preserved trail for our community, so peaceful morning trail walks are usually in the mix, as it is about 50 meters from my house. I have 3 dog beds (I know my dog is spoiled) so you don’t have to worry about bringing too much unless you want to. In the case you don’t want to drag around your crate, We also have a crate that would fit about a 45lb medium- large size dog. Fitting similar height of a medium sized Lab or golden if that helps. Beau fits in it perfectly - though he now sleeps on the floor and it is never used. Dog toys! Beau has so many Kong toys, Kong stuffed animals. If you bring your own items and they rip, that will not be my responsibility, however that has not happened. What you can expect in my dog leadership: me being; helpful and adamant about manners, sending you videos and pics, and positive reinforcing. If you have any specific commands I can help with, please share in your request! I love to help with this! Please let me know if they do well outside with others, any biters from the past will have to be a in-home request as we have other dog friends. What I require: 1. I will not take care of dogs that are not potty trained. If you’d like me to train your dog to pee in the right place, then I am happy to support you but it will be an additional $30 service if it is requested! The amount of discipline that comes with being on top of non potty trained dogs is crucial for long term behavior. And I will make many efforts to get them outside. And we all know that could be up to 10 times a day. 2. Communication - please let me know if you need certain times to have your fur animal dropped off and picked up if it is not in the scope of the times listed. 3. No bookings with in 36 hours unless you have reviews that would help me understand the nature of your dog. I don’t feel comfortable for your dog or my dog, and I truly want to get a sense of understanding how to help support your animal and you. 4. Your dog will need to be dog friendly and people friendly if it is boarded in my home. 5. If your dog is not good at walking, it is ok, but if it is over 25lbs I will require a harness as it different to walk 2 dogs while one is dragging me. I do not want to choke them.

Cheyenne was great! I had issues with my booking going through, but Cheyenne still feed the cats even though it was late in the evening! She was kind, through, and understanding!

Cheyenne does a great job taking care of our dog, Roux. She always gets a lot of attention and outdoor time! Roux squeals with excitement when we drop her off.

MT was perfect with my dog! She gave me no reason whatsoever to be worried about my pup while I was gone for a long weekend. Constant communication, great pictures and videos, and was never afraid to ask any questions about what was best for my dog.

Safety, trust & environment

Dogs must be invited on the couch or bed but this is more of a reward for good behavior! Generally I do not allow dogs to pull the leash, so even if my dog does, I do stop and wait for them to sit and look at me, before moving forward.

Home

Lives in a house
Has a fenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has 1 dog, has cats
No children present
Dogs allowed on bed
Dogs not allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 2-4 hours

Information Cheyenne M. would like to know about your pet

I do not have any breed preferences on dogs. The only thing that concerns me is if the dog has a record of malicious biting. Commands the dog knows so I can reinforce. Knowing whether I can or cannot trust your dog w letting them stick their head out the window - which is fine. I just don’t want them to jump out. Understanding anxiety behaviors and how to help them through it Understanding signals they give before needing to pee

A typical day

Whatever makes the owner comfortable, but dog parks, beaches, hikes, or just adventure walks on the belt line! We love Fetch so please feel free to send your vaccination records! And I usually pay for the first time of us going!

I work full time in healthcare technology - I work remote and it is very flexible (I sometimes work at Fetch!) Beau and I go out probably at least 5 times a day. The backyard is a game changer and so is the trail that we walk when I can be muted for meetings.
