Here’s the deal, I’m the person the neighbors call to remove tarantulas from their pools, to rescue pigeons with broken wings, fish baby qail out of the storm drain, deliver their dog’s puppies at 2am, and to babysit their baby wallaby named Rocko. I adore animals and have such respect for them and nature in general. I think people could learn so much from animals about unconditional love, patience, friendship, and kindness. If I could live in a zoo trust me I would lol! I’m most likely destined to become a crazy cat/dog lady. My love for animals has been instinctual since I was a little girl. I was always the kid that brought home strays; I even hid a turtle in my sock drawer for a week when I was 8 years old, before my mom found it lol! As for dogs, they are like furry people to me. They each have such unique individual personalities and I love that about them. I also love that they have such free spirits. There is nothing better than watching a dog wag it’s tail with its whole body! I’ve had dogs most of my life. I currently do not have a dog because, my dog passed away after 16 wonderful years with us and I just don’t have it in me to get another. She was so special to me that I just can’t imagine another being able to fill her little shoes so, I decided to join Rover to get my dog fix instead. I have 2 cats who I call my sons. I love them dearly, they are a big part of my family. Animals really hold a special place in my heart and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I guess this is because, no matter how crazy the world gets an animal is never capable of hating anyone. They can lift your spirits no matter what you go through in life; this is just one reason why I have taught my kids to respect animals the same way they would a person. Life is precious whether you walk on two legs or four. So, if you decide to choose me to care for your four legged companion just know they will be well taken care of. I’ll play with them, walk them, talk to them, and follow any routine you have set in place to a T. I will shower your dog with love and in turn you’ll be helping me set a good example for my kids about how we should show care and compassion to animals. I have years of past experience in the medical field so, you can rest assure that in the rare case of an emergency I work well under pressure and will be able to handle the situation accordingly. So now all you have to do is plan your vacation and drop your dog off at my place so they can start their vacation too! ;-)
