Pet care experience
Your pup(s) is/are a member of our family when they stay here at the Comanche Pet Resort. We have a home that was made for dogs, all wood floors and easy to clean. We’re located in the Indian Hills subdivision located right off the 264 and Brownsborrow Rd. & Blankenbaker Rd. We do have plenty of yard that wraps around the house so we will make sure there is plenty of outside playtime, as long as it’s not too cold or rainy. Our yard is not fenced in as we use the Invisible Fence. Our pack is made of 4 dogs, 2 cats, and 7 chickens (in their fended in coop), that love having company. My husband and I have been together 16 years and consider our pets as family. We love getting our pups out and into the wild as much as possible. KY has so many great parks and trails to check out. If you love you pets like we do, then spoil them with a resort-style retreat with us while you vacay your heart away. We are happy to make any special accommodations you may have, or need, and can handle all age levels and energy levels. Let us know how we can put your mind at ease when they stay with us because they are going to be too busy having a good time to be worrying about you!

Once again it was Maurice to the rescue. I have a rambunctious yellow lab and a gentle Belgian Sheepdog. I have been in Louisville taking care of aging family for several extended visits the last year and a half. When I have had to travel during that time Maurice has been stepped in and walked the dogs to drain their energy so they are relaxed and well behaved in the house. Maurice took time to get to know the dogs and we walked altogether once. He handles the two dogs easily despite their different personalities, is always reliable and communicates schedule. And most important he just is a kind person to both dogs and their humans and I trust with my family…the canine and human family members.
Maurice and Greg are absolutely wonderful to work with. We are so thankful that we found them and know each and every time we leave Grey with them she will be nurtured, loved and taken care of. They are both very kind, genuine and compassionate people, who truly love what they do. They are quick to respond, flexible and always maintain great communication while we are away with updates on how Grey is doing. They treat Grey as if she were their own, so much that now as we turn on their street Grey will wag her tail and whine in excitement, knowing where we are going. It is not easy to find a place that will love and care for your dog as you would in your own home, but rest assured your dog is in great hands with Maurice and Greg!

Maurice and Greg took the best care of my little girl. They are incredibly kind, caring, and warm. You know that they truly treat dogs like family!! They sent me photos and videos to see Mabel throughout the day. She didn’t even miss me I’m sure!

The only thing we would need to know is if they have any special things they love, or routines they are used to. We want to make our place as close to home as possible. If having their special blanket at bedtime is needed, or having belly rubs is necessary to falling asleep just let us know how we can make their stay more like home.
A typical day
We live in a beautiful neighborhood with very little traffic and pet friendly neighbors. We have a creek we hike to sometimes, if the pups are allowed to go on a hike. We live in a court and there is rarely any traffic at all.
