I love walking dogs and having dogs come stay in my home, and in both cases they are treated like treasured family. I have a basset hound, who is very stubborn, so my home has a structured environment with plenty of positive re-enforcement, mostly praise and pets, to keep order and all my Rover clients have benefitted greatly. It is hard to say who likes my Rover clients best: myself and my husband, or my cat and my dog! My cat runs to door to greet every new dog who comes to our house, and my dog always enjoys fellow canine company. My dog loves to play, but he is also smart enough to be very gentle with small or old dogs. I am experienced with dogs from 2 to 60lbs, from little puppies to very old frail dogs, and can administer medicine, wipe eyes, clip nails, and clean ears if needed. I focus on positive re-enforcement, and my clients get plenty of play time, walks, love, petting, cool water, and quality time.
