Pet care experience
***NOTE: I am NOT accepting any new booking requests at this time.*** I've had dogs my whole life, and I've been pet sitting for dogs and cats since age 9 (and through Rover since July 2019). I believe strongly in the importance of using only positive reinforcement, as well as consistency among pet caretakers. I have experience taking care of dogs with emotional and behavioral problems, including my own dog who has fairly severe anxiety and a dog I had in the past who experienced fear aggression.

Morgan is so wonderful!
Morgan was amazing!! I always feel a little nervous leaving our pup with someone new but she made me feel so comfortable. She was friendly, attentive, and our pup loved her! She sent lots of photos and updates throughout her stay which I really appreciate. Would definitely recommend her!

Morgan was great. I would highly recommend. I was hesitant about using Rover again as we had a terrible experience with the last sitter we used but glad we found Morgan. Morgan stayed for 2 nights watching our senior cat. She kept us updated a few times a day with pictures of Macy. Morgan spent a lot of additional time with our cat which we truly appreciate as our cat gets very lonely easily. She was also very good about asking additional questions she had while we were away to ensure that she was properly caring for our cat as well as house sitting (ie. watering plants). Came home to a happy cat as well as a clean home. Would definitely recommend Morgan!

I will not be providing any services at my home (boarding or doggy day care). My dog has severe anxiety which unfortunately means that I am unable to comfortably introduce unfamiliar dogs into her environment at this time.

Any behavioral issues? Fears/triggers? What commands does your dog know? How are they with unfamiliar dogs/humans? My policy is to always meet your dog before confirming a stay. Big dogs are my favorite (especially Labs) but dogs of all breeds and sizes are welcome! I'm also open to taking care of other animals besides dogs and cats.
A typical day
During a stay, I'll take your dog on super-fun walks all around your neighborhood. We can also play fetch in your backyard or in a neighborhood park if you have a long leash. I am willing to take your dog on a car ride (or several) during a stay if that's something they enjoy. This opens up several more options for fun activities, including visits to the dog park if you're okay with that. I have also been certified at the Expert level in belly rubs and ear scratches (certification given by my dog, Becka).

Availability
My schedule is quite flexible so I am generally able to accommodate your pet's schedule. I am also willing to be flexible with pricing, including waiving my Cat Care fee for drop-ins or house sitting if I am already taking care of your dog(s). Regarding the Additional Dog Rate for walks, I determine that on a dog-by-dog basis – the amount listed is just a ballpark.
