My love for working with animals started when I was very young. I vividly remember spending countless hours training our childhood dog to do tricks, and taking her to do everything with me. She was my first best friend:) When I got a bit older, I became a nanny and started also caring for various clients’ animal companions as well. Then, a few years ago while my husband and I were living on the Big Island of Hawaii, we had the opportunity to care for some jungle cats that lived on our property. We spent much time partially taming them, to the point that they were eventually comfortable coming into our house to hangout whenever they wished. One day, one of the cats showed up on our doorstep badly injured. Two of her legs had been horribly burned to the point where no fur or top layer of skin remained, from a cause unknown. We spent the next month nursing her back to health, as she lived inside our living room. After about a month, she had mostly recovered, and was able to resume her life as a wild jungle cat! It was after this incident that I realized my gifts in animal companion care. Fun fact: Humans and dogs/wolves have had a symbiotic relationship for some 32,000 years! That’s a long history of friendship:) We offer a luxurious, calming, care experience. We offer undivided attention and a loving atmosphere for your animal companion, and have watched hundreds of dogs at this point-ranging from wild puppies to senior pups in the last moments of their lives. We take what we do very seriously, and we do it with heart:) Between each stay, we have our home deep cleaned with natural soap, and essential oils, to ensure that our home is in prime condition for the next stay, while also not having perfumed smells or chemicals that commonly cause irritation in dogs and humans. Baths are complimentary upon request:) Your animal companion will go home calm, refreshed and clean after staying with us. Thank you so much for taking the time to read about us!
