Hello! I am 23 years old and live in Lamoine. I love all animals, my parents have a German Shepherd right now. I have two gorgeous cats and two dogs; 35lbs of pure love, Goose, I rescued from North Carolina and a 65lb German Shepherd, Ferris, from Texas. Both of my pups had fairly severe anxiety and I have had the blessing of caring for them and helping them overcome their fears. Ferris came to me as a feral dog almost 3 years ago and he’s come leaps and bounds; he loves cuddles from mama and walks in the woods. My family had a German Shepherd when I was younger and a Tibetan Mastiff. All big dogs who just want to have fun! Large dogs are not an issue for me, I am quite capable of handling them. I have some experience with small dogs. Whatever your canine (or feline) needs are, I can deliver. I really do just love dogs and cats, and find their company therapeutic.

Morgan is great with exercising and walking my pup while I’m at work! My pup is always happy to see her! She is also very responsible and respectful of my home!

Morgan has the natural ability to connect with and care for, dogs with various personalities and traits. Our experience with her has included mid to large dogs with both passive and strong personalities. This has included mixed breeds, large male German Shepards, and a Tibetan Mastiff. She is consistent, responsible, and always kind to our furry family members.
Morgan loves and cares for all animals, and does so as they are her own. She told me when she was in high school, she even used her free time to volunteer at an animal facility by feeding, cleaning cages, and caring for the animals after she got out of her classes. Morgan would be a great choice to take good care of your fur babies.

Some history of the dogs behavior and general demeanor is helpful. For example, my GSD doesn’t do well with eye contact with most people. It’s best for someone watching him if they almost pretend he’s not there until it comes time for a walk, and then he’s very excited and will help you put the harness on. If there’s any kind of fear or aggression, I’m open to walking and whatnot after an appropriate amount of meet and greets happen with owners present to ensure the dog becomes comfortable with me prior to being alone with him/her.
A typical day
I take Goose and Ferris out in my backyard around 13 acres, where she gets to sniff loads of animal tracks and enjoy the great outdoors. I also take them to the Lamoine State Park in the winter to run for a bit when no one else is around, one at a time as they tend to wander off together. This will look different, of course, with your dog. Your dog will always be on leash and my dogs will not be present. I can walk dogs around your home, on your street if appropriate, or take them to the park or beach. It will depend primarily on where you are located. I can easily find walking trails online to take them too if a longer walk is desired.

I am currently working part time, and looking for some extra pup time to keep me busy. I am fairly flexible and would love to find a handful of people to serve regularly.
