Pet care experience
I have grown up around animals my entire life. Primarily dogs and cats. Some chickens, cows, and pigs! I have been an animal sitter for 10 years. I was the lead pharmacy technician at a veterinary compounding pharmacy in college called Animal Solutions. I learned to make drugs from scratch for both dogs and cats and administer medication. I absolutely love animals and being around them.

I have a huge multi-fenced 10 acre property. I’m not far from the Galt Dog Park or the Galt Community Park which is my ideal place for walking. My mom lives in a neighborhood not far from the Community Park that has a great walking path way that goes in a large circle that is dog friendly that I enjoy. I have a chocolate lab, a golden retriever, and a domestic shorthair cat. We also have cows, mini donkeys, pigs, and chickens on our property. All our animals are very welcoming and enjoy meeting other animals big or small. Even our cat is a big dog fan! We have a pond at the back of our property we enjoy walking to and we have a large open lawn area around our house perfect for playing fetch.

A typical day
I enjoy going on walks, playing fetch and being outside with my animals when the weather permits. My house pets are indoor/outdoor so we often times do have down time where we hang out inside and watch a movie and cuddle with the dogs.

Availability
I’m self employed! I work here in Galt only 5 minutes from home and I’m also a full-time nursing student. My schedule is pretty flexible and I’m available to work weekends the majority of the time. I currently go down to school Monday-Wednesday but I’m home or in town Thursday-Sunday!
