I've had dogs my entire life, including five rescues of my own now! My friends not-so-jokingly refer to me as a "dog magnet": if there's a dog in need within my immediate radius, it's sure to find me and I'm sure to save it. I'm comfortable with medication, walks, playtime, and training. I'm more than happy to send you photos of your pupperino while I'm popping in or taking them for a walk --- I want photos of mine when someone else is caring for them, too! I'm experienced with regular collars, martingale collars, harnesses, and gentle leaders, which are what we personally use with our own zoo. I believe in positive reinforcement in ALL things. Dogs are wired to please us, and so there is very little rewards of some sort (usually treats!) can't accomplish. My own dogs are all basic obedience certified at minimum, and one is AKC CGC certified. Training, play, structure, trust, and love are what dogs need from us, and I am happy to give it! My only hindrance is cats! I'm highly allergic and cannot enter households with kitties, even if the kitties are "put away."
