It's more than just a walk

Pet care experience

I graduated from Penn State with a bachelors in marketing and my masters in accounting. I have 11 years of experience watching dogs. I grew up with very large dogs, specifically an Irish Setter and two boxers, and currently have a 1.5 year old golden retriever. but I love dogs of all sizes. I am very trustworthy and dependable and can provide you with a recommendation if you would like. I am willing to take care of your beloved dog while your away or assist with walks while you are at work. I am young and energetic and would enjoy playing with your dog and providing exercise. If you are looking for a caring and honest dog walker, please message me! I work full time from my apartment, and have a golden retriever puppy of my own who loves to play with other dogs! I take my dog out every 4 hours and can take your dog out with mine. I can take the dogs on a walk or bring them to the dog park, and I have plenty of dog toys and treats for them to have and play with! In terms of house sitting, keep in mind that I would have to bring my dog Murphy with me to your home. He gets along with ALL dogs.

Morgan was fantastic! She followed every instruction to the letter and even went above and beyond to spend some time with Piper after her walk to help ease her separation anxiety. I will be using Morgan in the future.

Why would a dog sitter accept a booking from an 11 lb. female puppy, knowing that she also has to walk a large, unneutered Great Dane on the same day? Why would said dog sitter take the 11 lb. dog to the dog park with that Great Dane even after the 11 lb dog's owner warned that the puppy should not be in the dog park with other dogs? The only answer that iI can concerns of is money. I debated about writing this review, Morgan. But I can't allow what happened to me and my dog to happen to any other dog owner. When I dropped my dog off in the morning I explicitly asked what other dogs you take care of. You stated that you watch a Great Dane. Because we live in the same area, I immediately knew which dog you were referencing and told you to keep my dog away from that dog as they had problematic encounters in the past. (My trainer literally warned me to keep my dog away). You should have told me that wouldn't be possible at that very moment. You should have given me the chance to walk away with my puppy. Instead you took care of my puppy, walked her with the unneutered dog over to the dog park and let them be in the same enclosed area. I knew something was wrong when you said that my dog kept sitting in your lap. My puppy has been working on recall when she's outdoors and has so much fun that she only looks for humans when a dog scares her. When I picked my puppy up at the end of the day and questioned you about what you did about the Great Dane, you admitted that you needed to have them together even after I explicitly warned you. While admitting this, you said, "I hope you're not mad." It took me a bit to process, but I am deeply disturbed and concerned about my dog as well as other dogs you watch. If you are going to put profits over the safety of dogs then you did not be watching dogs.

Morgan went above and beyond what I ever could have expected from a dog boarder, I cannot recommend her highly enough. From pre-boarding syncs to ensure we both had the information we needed, to extremely easy and convenient pick-up and drop-off, even the items outside of the actual boarding itself were top-notch. As for the boarding, I was a bit anxious using Rover for the first time to board my larger dog for a trip where I was going to be far away. Morgan gave consistent updates of images of Butters and text updates to help put any concerns I had at ease. It was clear she did everything she possibly could have to make Butters' boarding time as fun, relaxing and easy as possible. From playing with toys, giving him comfortable spots to relax / sleep / snore, to taking him on walks to let him explore and get his energy out, she ensured he had the time of his life. I would trust Morgan completely for any future dog services you need, as I know I will be.

Information Morgan N. would like to know about your pet

Is the dog friendly with puppies/ other dogs? Is the dog potty trained? Can the dog be left alone at all? If so, for how long?

A typical day

If the dog is good with other dogs I will bring them to the dog park at my apartment. The dogs love it and it allows them to run around and it tires them out. I also bring them on numerous walks throughout the day and will have a catch with them if they enjoy that.
