Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs of every size and type since I was young. I have always been a dog lover. I always wanted to be a vet growing up, but opted to take care of people as a nurse instead. Despite a fulfilling nursing career, I love caring for pets on the side. I have experience with training puppies, caring for older dogs with special needs, and more. Just ask and I can most likely meet your needs!

While I don’t plan to board dogs in home, I do have two dogs that are like family. Our two cairn terriers love walks and playing fetch in our large backyard. Pets are family members and must be treated as such!

I require one meet and greet prior to keeping a dog. I think it is essential to know their personality, likes and dislikes, and ensure they are comfortable around me. It is also important for me to know who their vet is and if they have any special medical needs. Finally, I like to know what they like to do, so I can make it as enjoyable for the pet as possible!
A typical day
I love taking long walks around the neighborhood, trail, or parks nearby. We will enjoy many hours playing outside and practicing tricks inside. I love to train puppies new things while I’m with them!

Availability
I currently have significant flexibility in my schedule. I work part time as a nurse, but I am extremely flexible on dates I don’t work. I am available to house sit any day of the week. I am also available to walk pets and let puppies out for a break any date or time.
