I have a few families that regularly ask me (at least once a month) to stay at their home to care for their dogs ranging from a small Pekingese mix to a large Golden Doodle. I love taking them for walks, playing, and giving lots of pets and cuddles. I also have experience with cats if necessary, including my own. I am a full time school counselor and therefore available after 4/4:30 each workday. I have more time and flexibility in the summer. I find that dogs do best with structure, clear expectations, and routine. I will aim to provide such for them. I grew up with a husky and an Australian Shepherd and therefore understand working/herding dogs' need to use their minds and energy for a purpose.
