Dogs are the highlight of my day
Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Morgan, lifetime resident of San Marcos. I have volunteered with animal shelters and wildlife protection agencies, have owned animals throughout my life, and was the manager at a dog kennel for two years. I've worked with a wide range of animals, so if you have other pets in the house, I'd be delighted to take care of them too! I have experience giving animals all kinds of medication and have basic grooming experience. I'm a part-time student, but my schedule is flexible and open. Your animals' health and happiness is my priority, so you can depend on me to take care of their needs. And if you ever find yourself missing your pets, I'll gladly send pictures and videos to you!
Reviews
Morgan is very responsible., communicates well, and follows through. Cocoa seemed to do well under Morgan’s care. Morgan also provided photos and a short video which were much appreciated. She stayed in our home and you couldn’t tell someone else was there - very respectful! Thank you Morgan!
I was very happy with Morgan's service! She sent me pictures every day and when I came ho me it was obvious my dogs had been well taken care of. I will definitely be using her again!
Morgan did a fantastic job House-sitting my 6 year old pup! I travel a lot for work and my dog has separation anxiety, but she hardly noticed I was gone with all the attention Morgan provided. Highly recommend and I will book again!
Highly recommend Morgan

Safety, trust & environment
When watching someone's pet my first priority is safety. I make sure to have all of their vet information and any information regarding their medication on hand at all times. I also take great precautions on walks/outside playtime. I have animals myself and know how I would want a sitter to treat them with the utmost care. Other than that I give them a ton of love and make sure to talk to them in baby voice at least once an hour.
Information Morgan H. would like to know about your pet
I would love to know all of their vet info and any emergency vet preferences. It's also good to know how they interact with other animals, how they are on the leash, and anything that could help me anticipate their behavior and keep them safe. I would also prefer to know if they have had any bite history, this isn't an immediate dismissal but it can inform my behavior (how loud, excitable, careful I am).
A typical day
It all depends on the activities they enjoy doing with their parents. I like to do similar things with them as animals can get anxious when their parents leave and familiarity can soothe them. It's the same for places to go on walks. I've found that following their regular routine makes them feel more comfortable. That being said, if their parents prefer it or they seem super comfortable I love trying out new places!

Availability
I'm currently going to school but I have many spaces in the day where I can take care of your animals. And if I'm boarding you can be assured I won't have anything to do but cuddle with them and do homework. It's a win-win!
