I would love to pet sit for you!

Pet care experience

Local animal lover looking to be of help to the community. I’ve worked in large animal services and small animal services, I’m confident with pets that need medical attention as well as exotic (chickens, horses, rabbits, goats) pets as well. I am full time employee at a vet clinic, drop in visits would be where I am able to be of service. Before and after work during the week and then most times available on the weekends. I have two dogs of my own so multiple dogs/cats is not intimidating, I will respect your wishes for care, and follow through with the best of my ability

We had Morgan stay over Wednesday Nov. 22-23 at our home with our dogs. We specified at the time that she not leave the house unless absolutely necessary. I offered for her to make Thanksgiving dinner here. She was aware that we made that request, but after booking she told us that she was going to have Thanksgiving dinner at a friend house. I see now from another review that she double booked, and was supposed to do drop in visits at another home on the same days we booked her. From what that review said, it doesn't look like she showed at that house at all...No evidence on their security camera. I am wondering now if she spent much time at our house with our dogs and cat as well. On the day we returned home, she had to leave early, stating that her husband had been in a car accident, so we didn't see her when we got home. I expressed concern that her husband had been in an accident and then she ceased communication. Hmmm. Curious and suspicious. I wouldn't book her again.

Morgan was nice, personable, and made us feel assured that our pets would be well taken care of. We thought we were lucky to find someone with stellar reviews who lives so close to our home in this remote area (according to Morgan, she lives 5 mins away). Then it all fell apart. We booked Morgan's once-a-day visit services for Thanksgiving Wednesday thru Sunday. We left our "kids" on Monday night with enough food and water with the anticipation that she'll check on them starting Wednesday. She does not provide services on Mondays and Tuesdays but since she got such stellar reviews, we opted for her anyway. She was aware that no one has been home since Monday night. Communication with her was perfect - she responded quickly. Both Wednesday and Thursday we texted back and forth, she even gave details on how the kids were doing (cat was a talker and wanted to show her around, rabbit had a wet nose, sat down for a petting session, etc.). She claimed she forgot to take pictures, which was ok. What was not ok was the fact that none of my home security logs showed that she went on either day even though I could see the mailman and other activities. I let her know that I'm not showing she went, her reply was that her phone died so couldn't take pictures, and that she'd go over twice the next day to make up for it (NO THANKS!). The thing is, one cannot enter our home without a working phone. So I told her that I know she was lying and asked her to prove that she was there. No response from her thereafter. I contacted Rover support and they offered to find another sitter. Instead of having Rover try to find an available sitter who is willing to go visit a home in a remote area first thing on Thanksgiving Friday (time is of essence, for the kids' lives are now at stake), I changed my flight and had to cut my holiday trip short by 5 days (not to mention my mental anguish and distraught from the possibility that something dire could happen to one or more of the kids). I didn't want to waste any more time since the kids have not been checked on since Monday night and water should have been out for a while by now. I flew home first thing Friday to find all of their water bowls completely dry. Just to give some perspective, they each drank about half a bowl of water when I came home when it normally takes them 2 days to finish that same bowl together. I had to monitor them for a few days to makes sure there are no signs of sickness, but thank goodness they seem to be ok. It's one thing if she was ripping me off and the only downside is lost money. But this is way beyond monetary damages. She is a skilled liar (albeit, not a smart one at all) and it doesn't sound like this is her first time. MORGAN JEOPARDIZED OUR KIDS' LIVES AND GROSSLY VIOLATED OUR TRUST. According to her, she is a vet tech at a large animal hospital nearby. IF that were true, that would make her actions (or lack of) even more despicable. I am confounded as to how she received raving reviews because she has proven to be NEGLIGENT, DECEITFUL, and a COMPLETE LIABILITY. Hire with EXTREMELY CAUTION!!

Morgan was very professional and friendly with both us and our dogs. She stayed with our little furry pals over the weekend and brought a sense of comfort, allowing us to enjoy our weekend. She stayed in our place and left it better than when we left. Overall from start to finish she was wonderful and gave frequent updates. Highly recommend hiring Morgan! (just not when we need her) Will be booking again for any future pupper care.

If you live in Kitsap hire Morgan. She is an amazing sitter who respects our pets and home as her own. She is very flexible. We ran out of dog food and she bought food for our pups. She is one of the best sitters we have every had.
