Pet care experience
My six years in the pet care industry as a pet boarding facility manager, grooming assistant, and dog trainer have allowed me to become comfortable with all types of dogs and cats. As a boarding facility manager, I was in charge of any special care animals, medication administration, recognizing any health issues with all animals in the facility, and handling any medical emergencies. As a grooming assistant, I was responsible for bathing, drying, and brushing all dogs getting groomed on a given day. As a dog trainer, I have been educated on dog behavior and how to control every dog size safely.

While your cats are in my home, they will be in their own secure room with safe engaging activities, two sanitized litterboxes that are cleaned twice a day, and a cat tree beside a window for cat TV time. They also have 24/7 access to a stainless steel running water fountain. Pet safety is essential for a happy pet and will be another top priority while I am taking care of your furry family.

A typical day
I love to bring lick mats, treat puzzles, and other mental stimulation toys for cats and dogs, using high-quality treats accommodating to any allergies. I also love bringing various toys (such as fetching balls, tug-of-war ropes, and herding balls) for all play types and dog sizes. I also like to provide the same experiences for cats with crinkle balls, bunny-kicking toys, and prey wands. While in my home, cats will receive one morning playtime, and one evening puzzle time, as well as having access to safe toys throughout the day. They are also monitored when I am in class with a cat cam to further ensure their safety.

Availability
I am currently a full-time student at Radford University; my class schedule is very light this semester so I have a very open schedule to take care of your furry family! My class schedule is as follows: Monday - 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm, Tuesday - 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, Wednesday - 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm, Thursday - 10:30 am to 12:30 pm and 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. I am available anytime other than my listed class times!
