Your dog would be joining me and my very exuberant adolescent shepherd/boxer/great dane/something mix, Dolores. My home would probably not be a good fit with older or shy dogs, as Dolores is a wild child and loves to play. Before D, I had a pitbull rescue named Cortés who lived a long and happy life with me in Seattle. I have years of experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I was a vet tech for several years where I did everything from simply clean up accidents to assist in major surgeries. In addition to being in the veterinary world, I've managed a dog daycare and a specialty pet food store--I can handle LOTS of dogs and LOTS of dietary issues. I'm savvy with most any behavior problem (my old rescue gal was VERY dog aggressive) and can handle even the toughest situations. I'm able to give meds, cuddles, and keep up with any training you'd like. In New Haven, I'm a graduate student with a very flexible schedule--your dog is in good hands with me!
