Pet care experience
My family has owned four dogs (2 beagles when I was younger, cocker-maltese and maltese-yorkie), and 2 dwarf hamsters. I've had lots of experience in making sure my pets are given the right amounts of food, so you won't have to worry about me overfeeding your pet(s). When we owned hamsters, I would clean out their cages and change out their bedding once a week. With our dogs, I've given them baths (even when they don't want to) and have taken them on walks around my family's neighborhood (I clean up after them with doggy bags so I don't turn into that neighbor that doesn't pick up after their dog). My dogs also know quite a few tricks and I love playing tug-of-war with both of them!

I've known Morgan for years and can promise she absolutely reliable and trustworthy. She loves animals and has cared for multiple dogs over the years. She is sensitive to their needs and enjoys spending time walking and playing with them. I wouldn't hesitate to use Morgan as a pet caregiver when we're out of town.

The following typical routine is my go-to whether I’m hanging out with my family’s dogs or yours: -Letting them outside to relieve themselves -Making sure their water bowl is full -Feeding them, according to your preference -Treats also fall into this -Going on a walk, depending on the time of day determines how long I’m outside with them -Playing fetch, tug-of-war, or any type of game I or your fur baby come up with -Giving them belly rubs, depending on how well they trust me -Hanging out because who doesn’t love some downtime?!

If your dog requires high physical activity** (i.e. runs), let me know beforehand so I am able to bring/wear the necessary clothes and footwear—it’s not fun chasing down your fur baby in slides. **Typically larger breeds require more physical activity than smaller ones. Larger breeds also tend to be more aggressive. That being said, PLEASE let me know BEFOREHAND (after requesting a day and time through Rover) if your dog has or has not attended obedience school or discipline training so that I am able to prepare myself.**
A typical day
Some fun activities I’ve had with dogs are: long, nature walks, fetch, tug-of-war, chasing around a laser (yes, this is honestly quite entertaining ?), going on a drive to a park, swimming in a pool, and of course belly rubs.

Availability
At the moment I’m working part-time so I’ll be able to check in on your first babies! If you choose to do check-ins, I’ll typically check in on them at least 3 times a day to make sure they get the chance to relieve themselves as well as get some play time in.
