Pet care experience
Just graduated from PA school in nyc, *fully vaccinated of course!*, but sadly have no pets of my own. Being from a dog loving family, it breaks my heart that my schedule cannot support a pup full time at the moment. I have had a great deal of experience caring for dogs, with grandparents who were Newfoundland breeders and trainers, so I often spent my summers and holidays with over a dozen big dogs (and if I was lucky - lots of puppies!). For this reason, I am no stranger to either, the big bear like dog, or the rambunctious puppy! I have years of experience dog sitting/walking for neighbors and family friends. I love taking the pups to the dog parks (Only if you're comfortable with that of course!) so they can mingle a bit while getting some exercise! I live within 10 min of Washington park, and they have a dog park. I also am very mindful of the Do's and Don'ts when it comes to what your dog can and cannot eat. I am a very eager as well as patient person when it comes to getting to know your pets, and I will definitely help keep your pups active and happy! I am very generous with my check ins and photos on the app, so I can let you know what/how your animal is doing while I'm with them, unless you prefer otherwise.

Morgan kept our pup happy and safe, sent bunch of cute pics from the dog park, and was easily to communicate/coordinate with. Highly recommended
She was excellent. Cared for my 55lb puppy. He returned home so happy and exhausted from playing. She gave home two long walks during caring for him and provided updates along the way. Would definitely recommend

If I am visiting your home to care for your pet, I will leave the place as I left it, and be sure to clean up any messes from your pet during the booking! I also want to keep your animals routine as normal as possible, so I dont mind the pet on the furniture/bed if thats what they are used to, and can do my best to keep meals/bathroom trips on the schedule that they might be accustomed to.

If your dog has any anxious habits, such as a tendency to jump, especially on strangers, I would prefer to know this ahead of time so I can do my best to limit this on our walks. Similarly, if your dog tends to tug on the leash or barks during walks, or when around other people, dogs, or birds/squirrels etc, that would be nice to know ahead of time as well! If you have any tips or suggestions for any habits your pup may have, I welcome them! The more I know about your dogs typical behavior the more I can provide the best care possible! I live in Washington heights (130's/Broadway area), and if you aren't nearby, and require me to pick up/drop off your pet, I just ask that you let me know which method of transportation they do best with/what you would suggest. For example, if your dog doesnt handle the subway well, and a long walk would be best, or uber, that would be helpful to know ahead of time!
A typical day
For dogs familiar with them, I love visits to the dog park as well, and live nearby one in Washington park (if you have any that you frequently visit, let me know and I’ll see what I can do). I typically go for the longer walks, especially if your dog has the energy for it, and take breaks every now and then during the longer walks (and more if your pup needs them) After a long walk, I like to let the pup rest, but am totally there to play with him or her after they have had a breather! If your doggo has a favorite toy or two, I can bring it with me for the day, so don't hesitate to offer!

Availability
Recently finished grad school and have accepted a job at Cincinnati Children's Hospital, but I don’t start for a couple months, so I’m readily available throughout the day! Sometimes transportation may be a little difficult, because I just leased a new car so I prefer to not have dogs in there. But most of the time will be able to figure something out, especially with a substantial notice before the job. Always willing to try to accommodate you and will do my best to be available as I definitely am looking for jobs!!
