CERTIFIED Sitter - Training&Vet Exp
Pet care experience
**PLEASE NOTE: I do have a medically necessary Service Dog that will need to come with me for all overnight house-sitting stays. I will require your pets be well mannered and good with other dogs for his safety or I will not be accepting the bookings. Thank you.** What Sets Me APART? -I am a Fear Free Certified Pet Sitter, Fear Free Certified Veterinary Professional, and a Certified Professional Dog Trainer. This means that I not only have experience caring for pets, but I have been trained and knowledge assessed in multiple areas of animal care. This allows me to provide the best pet care possible and ensure that your fur-babies are having a wonderful, stress-free time while you’re away! - I have 15 years of experience with training dogs professionally and for competition level obedience, so I can even offer training services while you’re away! My dog philosophy is SOLELY positive reinforcement, so you will *never* have to worry about your pups being scolded or reprimanded in any way under my care! I am also a force free trainer, meaning I train and treat all animals with my no pain, no force, and no fear policy. For this reason, I will not use any prong, choke, or shock collars on my visits. If you wish to use them yourselves, that is up to you. But please understand that they are firmly against my science-based training methodology. -I have 4 years of experience as a veterinary assistant and have basic animal first-aid knowledge. I can administer ANY medication type (including injections!) comfortably and soothe minor wounds if necessary. ~*~*~*~*~ What My Sitting Visits Will Consist Of: When watching your pups, I will make sure they get as much exercise and play time as they need! This will include walks, outdoor play (on leash if there is no fenced in yard), toys, etc. I understand that different breeds and ages require different exercise levels, so I will adapt as needed for your pup! **Please know, however, that I do work full time so I will not be in the home with the dogs 24/7. My schedule changes from week to week, and some shifts may be longer than 7 or 8 hours. I will not know my exact schedule until 2 to 3 weeks out.** If there are any special instructions I should follow when leaving a pet unsupervised, please let me know! (Instructions may include keeping them crated, closing off a certain room, etc). **NOTICE: My schedule CHANGES. There are some days I am not available mid day, and some days where I work very early or get home late. If your pets require a regimented schedule without flexibility, I may not be the best sitter for your needs. ~*~*~*~*~ About Me: I grew up in a home with dogs and have had at least one dog (but usually more!) in my family ever since the day I was born. I knew from a very early age that dogs, and animals in general, were my one true passion in life. In fact, I go out of my way to make sure the pets in my life get everything they love and deserve. I’ll be honest; I often put their needs above my own! Growing up, I used to show my Border Collie, Lily (whom I still have and adore) in 4-H dog shows such as agility, obedience, and showmanship. This experience is what unveiled my passion for dog training. I started showing Lily when I was 12 years old and have continued training dogs ever since. I currently run my own training business - Raise the Ruff Training. Please feel free to message me with any sitting requests as I am ALWAYS happy to help!
Reviews
Morgan was so great with our two dogs! We had just moved to Richmond from NYC literally 2 days before a pre-scheduled vacation and needed a sitter for our 6 year old pup and 1 year old (VERY energetic) pup. She was patient and loving with them from the very first moment. She sent daily photo and text updates throughout her stay, and even helped work on training our younger dog not to jump when greeting people. The dogs were in a brand new house and environment and Morgan made them feel right at home. We will definitely be using her again in the future!
She was respectful of our home and took care of our girl staying true to what we asked and the notes we left. Stayed in communication throughout the stay and quick to respond to questions. Would book again!
I have used Morgan several times and she is just so reliable, caring, and sweet! She took my dog out in the dark in the freezing cold while it was raining to walk for an hour while I was laid up post surgery. I am thankful for her because without her he would be running around with a lot of energy while I'm unable to move. Thank you Morgan!!!!
Morgan saved me when I had a hectic day and had to take my neighbor to the hospital and was not able to walk my dog and asked her to help at last minute notice! She brought a light up collar to keep my dog safe while walking at night. She is so prepared and on top of things! I was so thankful that I could rely on her at the last minute when I was in a panic! My dog adores her and was leaping for joy when she showed up! Thank you sooooo much Morgan ! You are the absolutely best!!

Information Morgan C. would like to know about your pet
Any allergies? If so, what and how severe? Compatibility with other dogs. Any medications? Favorite hobbies/games. Any other information you feel is important for me to fully care for your dog.
A typical day
While with me, dogs will enjoy tons of play time, walks around the neighborhood and any nearby parks. Let me know what they like, and I'll do my best to make it happen.

Availability
I do work full time, but generally in the mornings. My schedule IS subject to change, but my work hours are USUALLY 7am-3:30pm or 6am-2:30pm. I will not be able to be in the home with your pets during this time, but will ensure they are taken care of and safe before I leave! I do often have certain weekdays off as well, which can be great for dog walking or mid-day drop in needs!
