Pet care experience
I understand the struggle of trying to find someone that you trust to take care of your fur babies while you are away! If I can be that person for someone else, that’s enough for me! I pride myself on treating your pet as one of my own for the time that I am caring for them 🙂 I will treat your pet like a part of my family! I am a life-time animal lover and was raised with all kinds of pets! I previously worked with rescue dogs on a daily basis at my full-time job and I spend a lot of my free time volunteering with various rescues. I have volunteered in the kennels, done transportation and have regularly fostered shelter dogs. I am often a go-to pet sitter for friends and family who are traveling! While staying with us, your pet will be treated as a part of our family! We live in a large single family home on 2.5 acres of land in Interlochen, MI. We have an energetic 3 year old daughter, a new baby who was born in April 2023, a puppy born in March 2023 & a kitten born in August 2023! Theo LOVES staying with Morgan. I can't explain it--when we arrive at her house, the dog immediately makes himself right at home and doesn't seem to mind when I leave. Morgan has taken care of Theo on numerous occasions, and I won't hesitate to call on her again in the future. Highly recommend!
I could not be happier with blues stay with Morgan and her family. I struggle to get Blue enough activity every day and their dog Willow wore him out , in the best way. Morgan sent lots of pictures and corresponded regularly. I am glad to know we have a safe, comfortable, responsible and fun place for blue to stay next time we are in town .
Morgan and her family took excellent care of Flynn and were flexible when our plans changed due to unanticipated circumstances. Loved the photos of Flynn playing with Willow, their dog. We would definitely book again.

I try to keep the routine that you have established as consistent as possible in our home. If your pet has a crate, feel free to bring it and I will crate them per your instructions. If they are more happy lounging on the couch or the bed, we’d love to snuggle up with them! We also have baby gates (having a toddler makes this a necessity!) that are placed around the house and can restrict access if needed. Just let me know what works best for you!

Is the dog friendly with dogs, cats, and children? Any issues with sharing toys, treats, or guarding food? Where is the dog kept at night/when no one is home? Is your dog crate trained? Do you allow the dog on the furniture or to sleep in the bed? Anything else I should know - separation anxiety, escape risk, counter surfer, medical needs, commands, etc.!
A typical day
It’s up to you and your dog! If your dog likes to get out and be active, I’d love to take them out on some trails or the beach to explore. If they are more happy being at home, we can cuddle up on the couch and watch Animal Planet! We live on 2.5 acres so there is also room to explore close to home. Please also be advised: our home has lots of stairs and hardwood/tile floors throughout! (This can be a challenge for some older dogs)

Availability
My husband and I work full-time away from home a few days a week. If it is a work day, one of us will come home mid-day to let the dogs out to run around for a while. If it's one of our off-days or a weekend, we make sure that we are home the majority of time to take care of your pets!
