Your Dog Will Never Be Bored
Pet care experience
Getting to reciprocate the unconditional love that dogs bring to our lives is one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve ever had. I joined Rover because I hate for dogs to be left at home with someone who doesn't love them like their owner does--as part of the family! I will make sure to update my clients on how their pup is doing with pictures or videos of us getting along, and follow every rule to the "T" to make sure everyone is happy with the stay. As for the pup, I'll treat them like they were part of my own family. I've found that most dogs can sense when people love them, so I usually don't have problems when meeting a new dog. However, if it's a smaller, more timid breed I ask that the meet and greet be at the client's home so the dog feels comfortable meeting me and sees their owner's approval to make them feel more comfortable around me. Personally I prefer large breeds (I grew up with chocolate labs) but there is no breed I will not take care of. I would also like to know if the client and the pup are ok with trips in the car and if they are ok with the possibility of staying at my house. I can't offer dog boarding 100% of the time because my mom is very picky with the dogs she likes, but if she were to approve it would be fun to have the pup stay as long as their owner is comfortable with it. My neighborhood is perfect for walks. I live off of Rudgear near Murwood elementary school and I am close to multiple trails and parks. However, if the owner has a place they know their pup loves I would much rather take them somewhere they're familiar and comfortable with. In my free time I either play volleyball, video games, or spend time outside reading a book. If I have an outdoor tournament for volleyball I can absolutely take the pup with me, if I have an indoor game not so much but those wouldn't last as long so the pup wouldn't be home alone for more than 2 hours. I generally don't play video games when I'm dog-sitting, so it would be a lot of us playing or relaxing outside.
Reviews
Morgan helps out when we need her and she is a really great communicator about her visits.
Morgan did a great job caring for our pups. She sent me daily messages and pictures. I felt that they were in excellent hands. We would certainly use her again!
Morgan has taken care of our dog multiple times now. She is trustworthy, our dog loves her and I feel like she really cares about our dog.
Morgan did a wonderful job with our Daisy and Lulu. Our dog was very happy on our return. She was loved and cared for. You could tell that Morgan really enjoys taking care of our animals. The house was kept clean. I would recommend Morgan to anyone who needs someone for their animal sitting.

Some things I like to learn ahead of time: Would you like to schedule a meet-and-greet before the stay? Does your pup have any health issues that need to be tended to? For instance, dietary restrictions, medicine, or behavior triggers? Does your pup like to stick to a given schedule, like regular walks in the morning and evening? What does your pup do well around? What does your pup try to avoid? What’s the best way to spoil your pup? I work 8:30 to 5 during the week, would your pup be ok by themselves for that long? I have an hour during lunch for checkups and some playtime but I want you to be comfortable with my availability.
A typical day
We would wake up and eat, then either go for a walk or play in the backyard until the pup got tired, making sure there's enough time for a potty break. Then we would hang out in the house or outside for a while until I had to go to work. Before I left I would make sure they went potty, then come home immediately after to give them another potty break and possibly another walk. Then after the last potty break we would go to sleep.
