Geez- I can't remember a life without having at least one pet at home; dogs, cats, fish, hamster... I lost my sweet Duchess in May 2023 and so very grateful for our amazing 80lb lab, Gunner. Duchess was taught to ring bells during housetraining with her brother Admiral who I lost in 2017 due to heart failure. My boyfriend and I recently moved in together, which gained me Gunner. We hike almost daily. Pets seem to be drawn to me and I have the patience to help house train as well as food train. Gunner sits and waits for his food until we tell him release. He does not enter the kitchen and very rarely truly begs. When he is off leash, he always listens to my commands. I have a full time job, but I am available during the week and weekends. Available to stop by during the day, or stay over night. Unfortunately, I am not able to host other animals in my home but happy to stay in your home (after initial meeting and a comfort level has been met) or stop by throughout the day.
