I love all types of pets!

Pet care experience

Hi there! I am a certified crazy dog lady who was looking for someone to be just as obsessed with my own animals as I am. I couldn't find anyone to fit the bill, so, here I am! As my headline states, I do have access to military installations as I have my own ID. :) We are hoping to be back in a house-house and open back up to boarding dogs by the end of summer. 》》》PLEASE NOTE- While I am available for dog walks and drop-ins throughout weekday evenings, I prefer to stay around the Newport News/Hampton area. Due to my work location, cost of fuel, and value of family time I hold, these are my only locations available for Monday to Friday. Weekends I can go wherever I am needed!《《《 I currently have three dogs and a cat myself, a female GSD/pointer mix who I am currently competing in dog sports (fast CAT, rally, dock, and soon agility) with, a young male German Shepherd, and a young male Border Collie. To say I'm extremely proud of their accomplishments and successes would be a major understatement! I know how to properly utilize all types of harnesses, prong collars, e-collars, as well as have experience with various training styles. I also have a history in veterinary and emergency medicine- I am an EMT and have my own equipment in case of emergency. I love all animals of all shapes and sizes, have experience working in a doggie daycare and training facilities, as well as growing up on and working at an ag farm (horses, cattle, chickens, ducks, goats, pigs, anything, you name it). So YES! I can watch your farm for you! I love taking care of exotics as well. Check out Highpoint Farm & Pet Sitting on Facebook for more information on this. I do work full-time during the weekdays and volunteer for a rescue squad in between, but thankfully that is pretty flexible to my needs. I crate and rotate for safety, meaning that I do not allow my personal dogs to interact with boarding dogs, or allow dogs from other households to interact with other households for safety and health reasons though I do generally book only one household's dogs at a time. Your boarded pet will have any less love or attention from me. :) When boarding animals, I only board one family at a time. They will have their own room in our house that has an automatic waterer, bed, blankets, and pillows. You will only need to bring their food, bed if they have one, and a chew toy for keeping in their kennel. PLEASE do not bring any extra supplies, as I have nowhere to safely store them. For drop-in visits and walks, I take care of your home the same way I would want someone to care for mine! That means any dishes I may have used will be washed and dried, bowls cleaned, waters refreshed, and anything else you may need me to do.

Morgan was absolutely AMAZING! I felt comfortable leaving my baby in her capable hands. She communicated & sent picture updates. She made our VA vacation so much better by taking such good care of our girl. I would highly recommend her!

Morgan was a great pet sitter! Dessa is a rescue and is very anxious and Morgan was sensitive to her needs. She checked in frequently and sent pictures too. Having Morgan watch our dog made our day stress free and I knew she was in good hands. I would recommend Morgan's services to anyone needing dog sitting services in the Williamsburg area. Thank you!

Morgan was great!! My normal dog sitter was away on vacation. My dog, Jordan, is 7 months old, not used to being around other humans or dogs, and very spoiled. Morgan didn't seem to have a single issue with my needy pup.

Safety, trust & environment

I never use Flexi-leads - so please do not take offense if I bring my own static-length leash to walk your pup. I do this for my own safety, as well as the safety and psychological well-being of your pup. :)

Information Morgan Q. would like to know about your pet

I have no preference, as I am comfortable with every breed and temperament of dog. I prefer to do a meet and greet initially just to learn your pup's routine and verify how to administer any medications, snacks, treats, and food. Plus, it helps them to become more comfortable with me, and I am all about that Fear Free lifestyle. (I’m a certified professional!)

A typical day

I’m always looking for local trails to adventure on with my own pups, as well as yours! I love helping to tire out pets’ minds as well as their bodies, so you can expect all sorts of enrichment for them during our time together.
