Pet care experience
I have been dog walking and pet sitting since I was 13. I have over a year of professional experience at Homeward Trails Animal Rescue that included dogs of all temperaments, ages, and breeds. I also received training on dog handling, walking, behavior, training and medical care including vaccines and medication.

My dog does not like other dogs and Monti kept this is mind. She took my dog on paths where there were fewer dogs and was patient with him.
Monti is caring and passionate about animal welfare in general. She volunteered at various animal shelters and ran donation runs for shelters in need. She is well experienced dealing with animals and I think she will do well with this job.
Montrachet is very kind and good with my dogs. Her experience with giving medications made me feel safe leaving my special needs dog with her.

I live in a very dog friendly neighborhood with plenty of walking trails and a dog park. I have ample space for overnight stay, whether crate or pet bed is preferred. Also have a small fenced balcony if the furry ones just need some fresh air.

I would prefer to know the general attitude of the dog especially regarding strangers and other dogs. If special leashes or handling is needed this should also be disclosed ahead of time. Any other important information such as allergies, issues with stairs, or triggers such as cars would also be helpful.
A typical day
I find that mental and physical stimulation are important for a pet’s wellbeing. I will walk dogs through pleasant nature paths and give them time to run around and play in the dog park. Furthermore, I will use healthy treats to stimulate their mind with basic training and fun games.

I am currently available any time of the week with reasonable notice. Preference for weekdays during daylight hours (for walks) over weekends, although I am flexible.
