Your pets will be in excellent hands while you're away! I've been fostering pets since I was 16 and started caring for others animals when I was 18. While I do have an affinity for dogs, I have experience caring for all kinds of animals, cats, birds, pocket pets, exotics and more! As far as pups go, I have experience with all different shapes, sizes, breeds, and temperaments as I used to work in an animal shelter as the adoption and foster coordinator and I've been pet sitting and fostering pets for many years. I enjoy dog training (All of my pups enjoy competing in some venue or another) and caring for people's pets! I am comfortable handling dogs who don't necessarily do well with others, such as reactive or dog aggressive dogs, or shy dogs who may take some time to warm up to new surroundings. I also have experience handling medically needy dogs as I tend to foster dogs who need a little extra time or care from local shelters and rescues. I enjoy spending time with all kinds of dogs! I currently work a full time job which takes me away from home most days from 9am to 7pm. Although, I do get a lunch break so I can attend to your pups then for house sitting clients. At this point in time, I am only taking early morning (between 6 and 8 am) or evening (7:30pm to 10pm) drop in and walk requests. I am totally up for snuggling on the couch or floor and watching movies for more mellow pups or going for long walks, hiking at local open spaces and trails, or playing endless games of fetch for those pups who like to lead a more adventurous life. For me, dogs aren't just a hobby. It's a lifestyle. I love all pets and their safety and comfort is my priority when staying with me. I treat other people's pets how I would want mine to be treated. We keep them happy and healthy with appropriate mental and physical stimulation and try to treat their stay like a vacation while you're away.
