Pet care experience
I am a teacher, but I always say that If I weren't in education, I would have a career involving animals, because I love them! They bring me joy! I understand how hard it is when you have to leave your dog, so I make sure I give the "pups" exactly what I would want a sitter to give mine: lots of affection, exercise, and play. I have cared for my own and others' dogs for over 35 years, and am very stringent about health and safety. I do not put them in situations where these would be a concern. I care for your dog with the same love and vigilance as I do my own "baby girl." Quite simply, dogs are like family to me.

Monni was simply the best. She treated my dog like family. She was great at communicating daily on how Joey was doing and texted photos as well. Leaving your dog with a stranger takes a great leap of faith. Leap in confidence knowing that Monni will take great care of your four legged family member. I would not hesitate to use her services again should the need arise.
Monni loves my dog and more importantly, my dog loves Monni! She watched him at our home when we were on a long day trip and has watched him at her home, taking him for walks and runs at the dog park. My dog is a Viszla, 7 years old and still a bit of a butthead. Monni takes him in her stride and is very easy going but uses the commands she knows he has. He comes to her when he is off lead and, out of respect for her, has chewed nothing at her house except toys. Her dog is a lot more laid back but is a good friend also. She sends pictures and keeps me updated on how my pup is doing. He is always ready to go to see her agian.
Monni has a lot of experience with dogs since she has owned dogs herself. I have observed for many years that Monni has a special way of connecting, not only with her own dogs, but others too.. She speaks their language. Her playful nature and attention to a dog's needs will make her a good dog walker and sitter.

Disposition issues. Since your dog's safety and security is my top priority, I would like to know if there are things that make him or her fearful, such as my dog with fireworks. Or, perhaps your dog doesn't like other animals. These are things I always ask the owner first before planning any pup activities.
A typical day
I always ask what owners will allow first. But, I take mine to the park or beach on a daily basis. If the day is too hot, we will do an early morn walk in the neighborhood or on the park trails, and chill out with some playtime indoors.
