Pet care experience
I have a 2 yr old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, who I've raised since she was an 8 week old puppy. I have also walked small dogs for my friends when they are busy, and these have ranged from high energy pullers to lackadaisical sniffers. Does your dog have any special needs? I've worked with dogs who have restricted diets, needs to take medications multiple times a day, and giving allergy shots. I also have training knowledge (including clicker training). So if you're working on sit, come, look at me, etc - I can make sure your dog keeps up on their training while they're with me. I understand that doggies aren't just doggies, but they are a part of your family. Every dog is different, and every pawrent has different desires which I will respect. I will give your furry loved one the utmost care and attention!

Monita was amazing! Super communicative and shared so many photos of our pup while he was staying with her. It was our first time using a sitter so we were a bit anxious, but she made everything super smooth and took the time to understand our pup’s needs.
Monita is awesome!! She was able to accommodate our boarding request very last minute and was flexible to schedule a meet and greet to make sure she got to know Laila and also introduce her to her dog Mochi. She took great care of Laila and sent us regular updates allowing us to enjoy our vacation worry free. I would definitely use her again and highly recommend her.
When I met Monita we were working in an office where there were always a ton of office dogs running around! Being an animal lover was pretty much a prerequisite for working there. She has a general kind demeanor that makes her a natural around animals. I've always known her to be a reliable and good-natured person, and I highly recommend her!
Monita and I are members of the Seattle Cavalier group, and our cavaliers have played together numerous times. It's clear that she takes great care of her own dog. And we've had each other's dogs for overnights as well. She's always taken care of my Kimchi very well. I'd certainly have no qualms about her taking care of anyone else's dog either!

I will respect your wishes on walks or when the dog is at your home. Let me know if they're restricted to a certain part of your home, and whether they are allowed on any furniture. My own dog has gone through periods of being restricted to certain parts of the home, although she has free reign now. On walks, I prefer using regular leashes compared to retractable, and can provide my own leash if you only have a retractable. Also please let me know if you like your dog to meet other dogs while walking, or not. And if they have a preference on the type of terrain (sidewalk, parks) or any route preferences. My Mochi is really picky about having fresh unsullied grass! No problem if you want to keep an eye on your dog with a GPS collar during our walk. We use the Fi collar to track Mochi's walks and routes and recommend it. The safety of your dog is the most important thing. Please do not hesitate to let me know of any needs or special requests. A typical day
I take my doggies on frequent walks, they get to hang out in our backyard, and there’s lots of plants in the neighborhood to sniff and explore. There are also lots of doggies around here, so there's a high chance your pup will meet a new friend!

I have a part-time business as an Interior Designer/Artist, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I am available to take care of your sweet pup Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. I am available for boarding on certain weekends. Please see my calendar for availability.
