Monique was wonderful with our two dogs while we were away. She is a natural dog loving person and it clearly shines through. She provided very full and fun updates on her visits to our house for each stay.

I have known Monique for 7 years. In that time, she became familiar with the multitude of XL rescue dogs, a herd of rescue cats, and a revolving door of fosters of both species that passed through my door. As I transitioned from doing rescue exclusively into breeding French Bulldogs, she showed the same empathy, compassion and aptitude for recognizing what an animal needs and how to best address it. Behavioral challenges, puppy behaviors and etiquette, administering meds, bottle feeding newborns, Monique is extremely competent at it all. Animals are her passion and there is nothing she won't do for them. I very rarely go away for more than a single day because my household at any given time could have a foster animal in some stage of physical or emotional rehabilitation, and/or an animal needing extensive oversight, medicating, wound care, or similar, and/or a pregnant mom or mom with a litter who needs tons of assistance, plus the needs feeding, exercising, and emotional needs of all the other dogs, cats, chickens, rabbit, etc. However, I had to go to CA for my son's sake for 10 days in August, and Monique handled them all flawlessly. She will walk dogs singularly or together, on leash or off leash. She will sleep in bed with the ones that want to, cater to each pet individually, and do whatever their routine is. When she is with your pet(s), that is her only priority. My eldest Frenchie and I have an "unhealthy" codependent relationship. He is always next to me no matter what I am doing and cannot focus on anything besides me even when I am gone. I was worried about him when I left for the trip, but after a day or so of sulking, Monique was able to console him, pamper, him, and keep him happy until my return.She is not one to take your dog to the corner and back, or be glued to her phone. She *will* give you peace of mind, and a full, detailed report of all that is going on or transpired during your absence.
