Deaf Dogs (and all others) Welcome!
Pet care experience
For the past 10 years I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, horses, and other small farm animals while house-sitting, and look forward to being able to give your pets a safe experience while you’re away! I’ve got a 2 year old deaf dog myself, so am familiar in working with deaf animals and administering medications that your pet may need! I work full time at CU Boulder and live in Broomfield, and am typically away at work from 7:30am - 5:30pm. On weekends I can give much more frequent breaks as I’m able to be home all day on weekends! I live in an apartment near a great well fenced in dog park, and plenty of easy walking areas to take your pet out for exercise! For dogs who are able/owners who would like I’m also happy to run your dog instead of walk as I run with mine most mornings.

Monika did a fantastic job watching our 2 pups! She sent pictures and gave us updates. She was super patient with one of our dogs who gets really anxious when we are not home. She left our house just as clean as when we left. We would highly recommend her!
Monika was wonderful and easy to communicate with. She did a great job taking care of our pup with special needs and was so willing to accommodate his individual needs. She was also great with our kitties and was willing to keep life as normal for them while we were out of town as possible. I would highly recommend her!
Monika has sat for my elderly cat twice and she has been reliable, caring, thorough and helpful. We really appreciate her and highly recommend her cat are services!

I live in an apartment and take dogs out for walks at least twice a day. I am very diligent about safety when taking dogs out since my dog is high risk due to being deaf, so I am extremely careful with the front door and handling when we’re outside.

A typical day
I take dogs in at least two walks a day (as they’re able) and try to keep their routine as similar to their normal one as possible. My neighborhood also has a great dog park to take them to as well!
