Hi there! My name is Monika and I am a bay area native. For my regular job I am a physician assistant working in surgery. Luckily I have a schedule where I can have a few random days off, so I'm using those to live my dream job as a dog sitter! I live in a smoke free home with a cat that is ok with mellow dogs. I have been a Rover sitter for a few years now so I have learned a lot about the local dog parks in the bay. I also like taking dogs on hikes, to the beach, and restaurants with outdoor seating. I'm currently training for a 12k so if your dog likes to run I'd love to take them jogging or just play tag in the park =P. Is your dog old or unathletic? No problem! We can chill too. I often have a lot of computer work so we can hang out at home or at some cafe somewhere. ***I do charge $10 extra for dog sitting/boarding puppies

Monika was great ! I enjoyed getting daily pictures of my furbabies and updates on how they were doing . My dogs also seemed to be very comfortable with Monika because my dog Maui didn’t even bark at her (he barks at all loving things) and Moana walked herself in her house and didn’t even look sad . Hahaha! Overall a great experience! This was my first Rover experience and I’d definitely contact Monika again . Now I know I can leave my dogs in safe hands .
Neo spent a day with Monika. Looks like he enjoyed his stay . Also Monika was able to handle Neo’s ( 6 month old close to 60 pound lab) size and energy level. I look forward to keep Neo with her in future.

I live in a spacious apartment with a mellow senior dog and friendly cat. The cat is ok with dogs that mellow/do not chase him but he can get scared with more playful dogs. We can always keep him in a separate room if needed.
