A little about me! I am a certified Zoo-tech that has been volunteering/ working with different non profit rehabs in the Metro area for years (just to fill up my free time). Giving back is what I live to do ,to care for things that are innocent and dear to our hearts. My open hand is always here to help you and your babies. I am a 100% reliable,dependable,professional,passionate and always on time kind of person. I'll be there! Even if things don't go as planned I'm mostly available on my down time and usually we can coordinate something not on the agenda. I am able to also do extra requests if needed as well. The extras are just for you! - Free baths! INCLUDING CATS and Exotics (ONLY for a 7 day stay or more... OR mega cuteness points!) - Hikes, runs, and dog parks trips! - Plan change flexibility!! - Distribution of medications on time and any special meal prepping. -$5 nail trims for ALL babies in my care! (large Macaws or cats is where I draw the line). - FREE beginner and small trick training!!! (sit,stay,come,shake,lay down, things like that!) Once we get one trick down we can move to the next!!! *Fully Stocked and prepared for emergencies! Tons of bowls, different sized bird and small mammal cages, food,litter boxes, beds, hammocks,toys etc.. A little more on my animal experience! Pet Experience. Dog Walking/Running- The energy and size will determine our speed unless directed otherwise. Doggy parks and hikes are doable with a small notification of course. Dog Bathing- No problem getting your baby back and rejuvenated for free every couple stays or anything longer than 7 days! Kennel attendant- Stay current and on time will any and all medications / supplements. Able to meal prep or leave the bowl full. Dog Taxi/ Animal Transport- Able to drive 20 miles to take your baby anywhere!Able to take furbabies to any vet appointments, day care, or places they just need to be! Dog trainer(non professional) - able to train dogs and/ or puppies simple starter tricks! Consistency is key while training and I take it seriously otherwise it just doesn't work..I really focus on making sure your dog or cat stays occupied while you're away no matter what. I like to make it a mini vacation for your baby every time! Exotic Pet Experience. -Understanding anatomy of exotic animals from geckos to blue and gold macaws. As this is necessary to provide proper care for your baby. -Knowledge in all aspects of husbandry and cleaning enclosures -Experienced bottle feeding or syringe feedings if needed for small mammals or birds. -FREE TIME!!! Out of the cage if requested. Personally Cared for: -Ferrets,Chinchillas, Parrots (big and small), Amphibians, Reptiles, Invertebrates, Hoof stock, Chickens, Squirrels, Fishies, Cats, Bunnies, Rats... I guess you could almost name it! **** I welcome all babies/ living things in my cozy home! Got plants? I gotchu! **** Farm animal experience.. -They used to make us pick up giraffe poop in college so cow or horse poop is not a problem. I almost find it relaxing to do farm work because it becomes more of a hobbie/ lifestyle in my eyes. -Understand differences in digestion systems and positive reinforcement handling techniques. (Positive reinforcement is all I practice!) -I am not a high maintenance person and really think of life as a naturalist. (Not afraid of picking up a worm or snake from the mud lol) -Able to pick up your chicken eggs if you have them! Thanks for reading!(: My Parrot rehab closed due to Covid, so i am now on the market for something new! I do these things with the good of my heart for free so might as well right?! I am flexible and can also be on call if needed. I will care for your baby as if it was my own! I live in a one bedroom apartment with a dog park and a big field for running! I have a 50lb Ausie mix (he is my service dog) that loves ALL animals and is very gentle! He makes a really great best friend! If your babies do not like dogs or cant be around other dogs for some reason or another, he can easily go to my moms! I also have a beautiful chill as can be cockatoo that keeps to himself. He constantly is occupied with his toys and dosen't really care for any other animals. For all he knows hes a person too! Any dogs that need to be kenneled (by preference of parent) will be, however be aware i wont be able to have kennels in different sizes so that would have to be something to bring along with your baby. Other than that we live our best little cozy lifestyle!
