Pet care experience
Ever since I can remember, my family has had pets in our home. I grew up with dogs, pet rats, rabbits, guinea pigs to name a few. At one point in my adult life I had 2 cats and 3 dogs. They all lived incredibly long lives and I feel it was due to the attention and immense love that they felt in my home. At the present time I have a guinea pig named Bernie that I rescued. My beloved dog Skottie who was 17, passed away in March of this year. My adult daughter and I are very active in animal rescue and have spent many, many hours searching for lost pets for owners. Right now I puppysit my son's Daschund Snoop, my granddog whom I LOVE. I’m experienced with diabetic dogs as well

Of course, I believe that if any dog will be watched, he/she would need to feel comfortable around women and not aggressive/leary around caged guinea pigs :) also if they are potty trained or need any medical attention.
A typical day
I live very close to a park! Also I live along the river so a nice walk along River Road is always a good time. I love my neighborhood as well and love to walk and visit with neighbors. If pooch is up for a safe and secure car ride with doggy seat belt, I have several other areas we could go to including a dog park downtown toledo.
