I've known Monica since she was 7 years old. Monica has always had a love and playful spirit when it comes to animals. She helped to care for and play with our 4 dogs, 3 cats, 2 rabbits, and 3 birds. When she grew up and decided to live on her own, the very first thing she wanted and got was her rescue mixed breed dog, Apollo. She took that dog and trained him with consistency and so much love. Apollo was a bit of a handful being 2 years old and obviously had zero training. I'll be honest and say that I believed he may be a list cause but, he's amazing and smart and she saw that all along. When Monica was little she wanted to be a Veterinarian. When she found out that not all pets live through it and sometimes have to be "put to sleep" she changed her mind and decided that it may be better for her to go in a different direction. I honestly believe she enjoys the company of dogs over people. I trust her completely with our 7 year old son Shamus. He is my Goldendoodle and he means the world to me. I don't even think she knows that I think this highly of her but, I do. The next time I see her I'll be sure to tell her...thank you for your time, Kelly
