Pet care experience
Taking care of animals is simply my whole life! I have been a Vet Tech for the last 16 years, which means that have both tons of love for animals and all the professional expertise to handle just about any situation. I currently am still employed in this capacity, but am lucky enough to work from home. Because of that freedom, I want to do everything I can to make sure that your pup is as happy as can be! That’s why being a pet sitter is simply a dream come true for me. I can’t wait to meet you and your pooch! One of the best parts about me as a sitter is that I am a full-time puppy lover! I am available for constant supervision for day care, which makes me a great fit for dogs that are used to having their parents around during the day. Since I am a full-time sitter, I’ll be able to make sure that your pup has all of the freedom and happiness they need to thrive! And since I’ll be around them during the day, they’ll always be in my view, safe and sound. I know how difficult it can be to be away from your pup. In the vet world, it’s never fun to have to keep pups overnight, but I’ve learned so much about keeping pups and humans happy! I firmly believe that great communication is one of the best ways to ensure a stay goes well. I’m always happy to take copious notes on everything your pup and I do together so that you can know that your pup is in safe hands no matter what. Of course, my updates always include tons of great pics of us having fun together!

Monica is the best to babysit your dog babies!! She is a vet tech and has years of training with dogs. She also has her own dogs!! She was very patient with my dog and my dog loves her! She walked her very often and kept her very calm while I was away for the day. Thanks!!

My back yard is block fencing, fully enclosed. I have a fun back yard with grass and gravel. A large patio and plenty of shade from the large mulberry tree. I enjoy providing play for dogs such as play pools and sprinklers during a summer. Tossing a ball or toy around. During the winter plenty of fun activities. I have enough room for indoor play and rest as well.

Some things I like to learn ahead of time: - Would you like to schedule a meet-and-greet before the stay? - What’s your preferred method of communication? - Does your pup have any health issues that need to be tended to? For instance, dietary restrictions, medicine, or behavior triggers? - Do you have a vet nearby that you trust? - Is your dog spayed/neutered? - Does your pup like to stick to a given schedule, like regular walks in the morning and evening? - What does your pup do well around? What does your pup try to avoid? - What’s the best way to spoil your pup? - Is your pup aggressive? (I cannot accept aggressive dogs due to safety concerns for my children.)
A typical day
I live near various parks. They are all within walking distance. My house itself is dog friendly. Tiled floors comfortable beds or couches if the doggies prefer. I love having plenty of toys and activities for them to play as well. My house is a great place for pups! Firstly, my home has large, spacious front and back yards, which are fantastic for getting out and having fun! If we want to head out and enjoy ourselves outdoors, there are tons of great options for us nearby. I live right by some wonderful parks and hiking trails, which are pretty popular with other pups, so we’re bound to meet some new friends along the way! Nevertheless, there are tons of opportunities for us to get out and have fun together, so your wish is my command!
