I love long walks to the dog park and the great outdoors. I can throw a tennis ball for hours and petting dogs is my #1 favorite hobby. I have unconditional love for every single dog which goes along nicely with my big heart! I have experience with dogs of all ages, breeds, personalities, and temperaments. I also have the unique opportunity to volunteer at a dog rescue that has exposed me to a vast array of dogs and given me the chance to hangout with a large number of them that have behavioral issues such as anxiety. My exposure to dogs that are working through those issues has allowed me to start developing skills to best support both the pups and their families. I understand how important dogs are to people and truly believe they are part of the family. Dogs have minds and preferences of their own when it comes to people and caregivers. With that in mind, I am very welcome to owners inviting to meet their dog prior to working with me if they would like! If you choose me as your dog's sitter companion, I am very open to talking about your pet's routine and any quirks that might help me best take care of them. I'm going to be honest, dogs love me to much that they are usually pretty sad when I leave and can't wait for me to come back! About the Doggy-Sitter: I recently moved to Minneapolis and work as a social worker at a local high school. I work typical school hours (8am-4pm). I do have personal transportation, in the form of a road bike and reliable car, as well as endless amounts of free time that I have no idea what to do with. I am hoping that you would consider me as someone to spend some of that time with your beloved companion! Your dog will get an abundance of attention from me. Nothing better than someone who can devote that kind of time to your pup. Your dog doesn't ever have to be alone with me as a sitter! Communication is vital for me and I often send doggy parents pictures of their furry friends while they are with me. If you have me stay in your home, I think it best that I let you know that I'm a clean and low maintenance person. You won't have to worry about me making any messes or not cleaning up after myself!
