I've gone my whole life having a menagerie of animals. I've been house sitting off and on for about 15 years. I've taken care of all manner of mammals from horses to ducks. I love hanging out with dogs, going for walks, playing fetch and cuddling on the couch. My goal is to be the best substitute companion for your pet while you're away.

Monica is great! I contacted her to watch my 2 dogs at my home for the weekend at semi-short notice, she responded right away and we set up a meet and greet. She asked questions and took the time to get to know the dogs’ needs before agreeing to the job. She was knowledgeable, trustworthy, and I could tell she really cares about animals. During her stay, she sent photos and was communicative. I never had to worry about anyone. She also left our home in great condition. I hope to use Monica for pet services in the future and would recommend her to anyone!

Some pets are most comfortable in their own space, I offer compassion and caring right inside your own home, making sure your pets are as comfortable as they can be while you're away so that you can make the most of it without worry.

A typical day
My husband and I love the outdoors and go hiking often. We just moved up here from Ohio, so we are still getting to know all of the wonderful trails around here. We also enjoy a good walk around our neighborhood, or heading down to one of Traverse Cities beautiful dog friendly beaches for a stroll.

Availability
I currently work full time, 8-4:30 in the area. I'm available every evening after 5 to care for your animal(s). While staying in your home, I would treat it as my own; pick up the mail, take the trash out and tidy up. It will be like you never left, and you will have peace of mind knowing that your pets and home are safe and well taken care of.
