Hi! I'm Mo! I'm a lifelong animal lover with over 10 years of hands-on experience working with dogs as a rescue volunteer, kennel technician, and foster mom. My passion for dogs knows no bounds, and my books are now open for a new venture: dog walking! As your dog's new walking buddy, I’m dedicated to providing them with a safe, exciting, and customized adventure each time we're out and about. From brisk trots to leisurely strolls, I'll tailor the experience based on your dog’s needs and preferences. I prioritize safety, fun, and exercise! During our walks, I will ensure your dog is leashed, hydrated, and safe, and engage in play that best suits their needs. I will also reinforce positive behaviors (such as rewarding walking politely on the leash with an approved treat or simply, pets) and of course, clean up messes. I can't wait to start walking with your furry family member!

WALKS: Please let me know if I can take your dog to Daffin or Forsyth Park to use their walking paths. I will happily do so! Otherwise, your dog will be walked closer to home (i.e., in/around their neighborhood). MEDICAL CONDITIONS & BEHAVIORS: Please inform me of any current medical conditions (i.e., if your dog is deaf or blind—disabled dogs need walks, too!), as well as any regular behaviors he/she exhibit(s) (i.e., shy, territorial, excessive excitability, etc.) that I can expect on our walks while out and about, especially with the public. FUN FACTS: Call me crazy, but... dachshunds are my favorite! I had 3 growing up, and have since owned 2 as an adult pet owner. I am just starting this dog walking venture and would LOVE to have a regular Doxie client, since I no longer have one of my own (RIP Colt & RIP Dieter). Additionally, I'm quite a "Chihuahua Whisperer" as I seem to have this uncanny ability to handle and calm even the feistiest of Chihuahuas. Not to mention, out of the 20 dogs I have fostered, over half have been Chihuahua-mixes—and my personal dog is a Chiweenie!
A typical day
A typical walk with me will be a fun adventure for your dog. We'll hit the pavement around your neighborhood, or go to a local park if you prefer (such as Daffin or Forsyth—upon approval/request). Depending on your dog's energy level and preferences, we might go for a brisk trot, a leisurely stroll, or even include a few rounds of tug-of-war with their favorite toy. But no matter what we do, we'll always make sure to stop for plenty of belly rubs and pets along the way! After all, a tired dog is a happy dog—and that makes a happy owner, too!

Availability
While I currently work part-time with varying hours, I always have Thursdays and Saturdays available for dog walking. I'll be more than happy to schedule walks in advance to fit your needs. I want to ensure that I'm at my best for your dog, so please give me advance notice to schedule our walks. That way, I can ensure that I'm fully prepared and ready to provide the best possible care for your fur baby!
