I have been a loving cat mama for more than 15 years, caring for a variety of breeds and feline temperaments. Because I have only ever had cats, I am especially knowledgeable of typical cat behaviors and can quickly spot those behaviors that may signal distress in a cat and thus can react quickly to provide appropriate care when necessary. Currently, I am a cat parent to three beautiful, long-haired fur babies, all of them being rescue cats. I am used to kitties weaving around my legs, cuddling up on lap (and sometimes on my head!), and the occasional love bite that says, “Pay attention to me!”. Because I have only ever had rescues, I am especially aware of the importance of helping pets feel safe and secure, especially during situations that may cause stress, such as a temporary separation from family or the introduction of a new human in the home. In addition to cats, I have experience taking care of guinea pigs. I have one little piggy named Rosie who is 3 years old. Also, as an owner of a gorgeous ball python named Hopper, I do not shy away from caring for reptile friends.
